Bibliografija narodnoosvobodilnega tiska je izredno bogata. Napisanih je že vrsta člankov in razprav, ki na kakršen koli način osvetljujejo dobo narodnoosvobodilnega gibanja tako iz vojaškega kakor tudi iz političnega vidika, ter so dragocen doprinos za zgodovino te dobe, posebno za prvo obdobje, za katero Centralne partizanske tiskarne na Dolenjskem niso mogle zadostiti vseh potreb slovenskega ozemlja s centralnimi časopisi. Zato so razne pokrajinske ciklostilne tehnike te časopise ponatiskovale. Da bi se tudi v tem pogledu zboljšalo stanje na Gorenjskem, je Oblastni komite KPS za Gorenjsko že v tistem času, ko Edo Bregar-Don še ni dokončno izdelal tiskarskega stroja za tiskarno »Trilof«, izrazil željo, da bi Don izdelal še en tiskarski stroj večjega formata za tiskanje časopisov.
