The beginnings and the Development of Social Policy in Slovenia up to 1941

The author discusses some ways of solving social problems of the working class in Slovenia from the beginning of the industrialization in the middle of the 19th century to the break up of the Austria-Hungary and the establishment of Yugoslavia. Then the development of social policy in Slovenia in the framework of Yugoslavia up to 1941 is studied.
