Abstract

V zadnjih letih se je večkrat pojavilo vprašanje, ali je obstajala II. Celjska četa oziroma njeni zametki. Popolne jasnosti o, tem do danes še ni bilo. Narodni heroj Peter Stante-Skala, ki je bil po zajetju narodnega heroja Franja Vrunča-Buzda komandir I. Celjske čete, piše v Spominih na partizanska leta (Prešernova knjižnica 1950) o I. Celjski četi, medtem ko II. Celjske čete ne omenja. Vendar pa že sam naslov njegovega članka »I. Celjska četa« indirektno pove, da so morali biti vsaj zametki II. Celjske čete po razbitju prve na teh terenih. Vprašanje o II. Celjski četi je pred leti sprožil tudi Muzej NO v Ljubljani.
