The World War was a review specialized in reporting on World War I. It was published by Katoliška bukvarna (Catholic Library) in Ljubljana from Autumn 1914 to Autumn 1915. In all, 18 volumes were published. Editors reported on the situation in all European battle fields in the first year of the War Special attention was dedicated to the involvement of Slovenian soldiers in the Austro-Hungarian army and their experience of the War. The author ascertains that, in spite of censorship, the review also reported on the dark side of the War.
