The second trial of Trieste in the Special court for State protection (1941) recollected in the Primorje history as one of the most tragic events of the fascist repressive policy on the Slovene Littoral. On searching through the material kept by the Central State Archives in Rome the author found out that the trial background has not been fully elucidated yet and it is worthwhile to examine closely also the handling of each individual historically active participant.
