Educational Policy in Slovenia in 1918-1929 and the Development of the National Thinking

The new Slovene and Yugoslav guidelines for Slovene educational policy in the years 1918-1925, the extension of the school network and the establishment of a Slovene university have essentially contributed to an enhancement of national consciousness. The new generations who grew up under the educational conditions of this period have become the basis for the further development of the Slovenes in cultural, economic and political fields.
