Keywords:
optanti, Primorska, povojno obdobje, 1947, italijansko državljanstvoAbstract
The author deals with the issue of opting for Italian citizenship, in the period from 1947 to 1951, by inhabitants of the territory which had been under the Italian sovereignty since the Treaty of Rapallo and which was annexed to the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia on September 15, 1947, following a peace treaty with Italy. Particular attention is dedicated to the legal basis of the migratory procedure for those who opted for Italian citizenship and their rights to transfer immovables, money and securities to Italy.
