On the basis of the research of Slovenian and Yugoslav newspapers, oral sources and literature, the author of the following article depicts the role of the supporters of the football clubs of Olimpija from Ljubljana and Crvena zvezda from Belgrade at the championship game in November 1989, when the danger of the »Rally of Truth« in Slovenia was imminent.
