The Liberation Front of the Slovenian Nation (OF SN), established on 26 April 1941 at the initiative of the illegal Communist Party of Slovenia (KPS), organised the resistance against the occupiers, to which the Slovenian people responded eagerly due to their anti-fascist orientation. Everyone operating in the Liberation Front committees and struggling for the realisation of the national liberation movement goals were referred to as activists of the Liberation Front.
