Theoretical Interpretations of Fascism and Their Contemporary Meaning for Research and Political Education
The author attempts to answer the question of what, in the light of the theories of fascism, the society should be like in order to structurally prevent its emergence. In the contribution he explains the social mechanisms which, for example, allowed for Auschwitz to happen. In this analysis he definitely had to take into account the theoretical interpretations of fascism and structures of the Third Reich. Theoretical interpretations of fascism not only present the information on fascism as a mass movement and its connection with traditional bourgeois society elites, but can also be used to define the socio-political conditions which minimise the danger of fascism. In this sense they can represent a normative orientation help for political education.
