Abstract

On the basis of archival records as well as memoirs written by some participants in the process, the author briefly describes the efforts made by the Slovene anti-revolutionary forces in 1944/45 aiming at preventing a successful end of the national- liberation movement in Slovenia, at the end of World War II. The anti-revolutionary circles proclaimed a United State of Slovenia as part of the federal kingdom of Yugoslavia, headed by a provisional Slovene government founded in Ljubljana on May 3, 1945.
