Civil Administration in Slovenia under the Occupation and its Archives

  • Tone Ferenc

Abstract

The first, more extensive part of the treatise examines some of the fundamental characteristics of the German, Italian and Hungarian occupation of Slovenia (the dismemberment of the Slovene national territory, annexionism and denationalization); the establishment of the occupational civil administration in individual provinces and its organization at provincial, district and communal level are described next. The second, less extensive part of the treatise deals with the Yugoslav and foreign archives of the civil administration organs under occupation.
