Abstract

Is the function of photography to merely document or to glorify as well? Can big and small themes that acquired fame in painting be equally eternalised on photographs as well? Allegory, portrait, group portrait and historical thematic have imperceptibly, sometimes even unintentionally smuggled into the photographic objective, and in a less grandiose yet perhaps more subtle manner shone on old photographs.
