Presented are the development of physics at Roman and Ljubljana high schools just before the interdiction by the Jesuit Order, and the first few years after it. We have proven that with the interdiction by the Society of Jesus not much has changed in Ljubljana as former Jesuits mainly remained professors of mathematical sciences. We are offering an entirely new finding – that Bošković's physics preserved its prevalent influence in Ljubljana at least until the end of the 18th century. We have tried to explain this yet not known fact with the continual influence of the former Jesuits.
