Dr. Jožef Muršec-Živkov in the revolutionary year 1848/49

Abstract

Dr. Jožef Muršec was during the revolutionary year 1848/49 secretary of Slovenija, the society of the Graz Slovenes and Slavs. The society proved its practical political power that leaned on its net, for the circulation of Slovene and Slavic books in years during the revolution, at the elections into the Frankfurt and Vienna parliaments, and with the signing of the petition for the United Slovenia. Personally, Muršec was most engaged in the field of journalism.
