Memorial materials of Olga Repnik as a source for the history of Polzela and its sur­roundings in the first half of the twentieth century

Abstract

The article presents the memorial records of Olga Repnik (1906–2000) from Polzela. The extensive materials are critically confronted with data obtained from contemporary newspaper and other printed sources, findings obtained from scholarly literature of various scientific disciplines, as well with document and photographic materials from the Repnik and Polanc family archives. The memorial materials of Olga Repnik provide an important source for understanding the characteristics of the life in Polzela during the first half of the twentieth century.
