The peasant everyday life in the Moravška dolina, which the describers of circumstances admired and depicted it as pleasant in the preparation of the material for the elaboration of the Franciscan land register, meant performing everyday and seasonal peasant work. The peasants increased the income of their farms by partaking in the peasant trade; above all, most important for their standard was the vicinity of the commercial route, which connected the capital of the Habsburg monarchy with the most significant commercial sea port. The peasants sold the extras of their produce to the nearby millers, merchants and innkeepers who used the products to provide their guests. Draught animals the peasants kept were being harnessed to carriages with cargo to alleviate the path over the always inconvenient slopes on the way through Črni graben.
