Glass and ceramics at the Tuštanj manor

Abstract

Several decorative items and tableware of different types of ceramics and glass are preserved at the Tuštanj manor. Depicted in the text are the most significant items, those that are outstanding by their quality, technique, style of decoration, age, and similar. Of great significance is the fact that the equipment at the castle has preserved, although it has been changed and supplemented with the change of owners. Most numerous among small items are products of the Hungarian factory Holič (now Slovakia), porcelain with schwarzlot paintings, early decorations in chinoserie style, and glass items of exceptional quality.
