Conservation-restoration interventions in Villa Mayer

Abstract

Conservation-restoration interventions in Villa Mayer took six months. The work was performed by restorers specializing in painting, stucco, wood, stone, ceramics, stained glass, and metal, as well as experts from various other professions. The works were brought to successful completion in 2009. Villa Mayer, currently serving as a protocol venue of the Šoštanj municipality, also hosts permanent exhibitions and occasional various cultural events. The article briefly presents all restoration interventions.
