Fragments about the German tank ace Hugo Primozic (1914–1996)

Abstract

The German tank ace of Slovenian descent, Hugo Primozic (1914–1996), is not unknown to military historiography. Plenty has been written about him in the histographies of many nations and somewhat less in the Slovenian milieu. The article at hand therefore seeks to illuminate the military path of a German soldier, awarded with the highest decorations for bravery, whose father came from Tržič.
