Abstract

Based on recordings prepared for the Slovenian Linguistic Atlas, the contribution first briefly presents the local dialects of Tržič and the surrounding villages, which belong to the Upper Carniolan (Gorenjsko) dialect. Then follows the analysis of dialect texts that the Tržič native Karel Pirc published in the Tržič Parish Bulletin in the 1920s.
