Življenjski in ustvarjalni fragment skladateljice Brede Šček v Ločah pri Poljčanah

Slovenska učiteljica, pianistka in organistka, skladateljica, zborovodkinja in pevka Breda Šček (roj. Friderika, poročena Orel) se je rodila 10. avgusta 1893 v Trstu (Italija), umrla pa je 20. marca 1968 v Ljubljani. Pokopana je v Avberju pri Tomaju na slovenskem Krasu. Starši niso bili ne intelektualci in ne glasbeniki, oče je bil strojevodja (Jožef Šček iz Vipavske doline), mati Vincencija (Vinka roj. Kante) pa je imela glasbo v krvi.
