Abstract

The paper reveals a practically thoroughly unknown episode in the life of a Lower styri- an ministerial who spent a decade holding important offices in the service of Louis v of Brandenburg in tyrol in mid-14th century, thus acquiring an extensive estate. even though his actions did not go unnoticed by the german-speaking historiography, his identity either remained unrecognised or was misinterpreted.
