In the paper, I show some parts of the history of Bosnia and Hercegovina under Austro-Hungarian control after the Congress of Berlin (1878). I focused on the influence of Croatian intellectual elites on this country, particularly on the context of Croatian influences on the process of Bosnian Muslim nationalization. Additionally, I want to show the complicated cooperation between the Croat elites and the Austrian government which was in power in Bosnia and Hercegovina at this time.
