Provincial Power-Plants of Carniola

Abstract

The author gives the description of povver-plants in the Province of Carniola — enterprises for production, transmission, distribution and installation of electric conduit ovvned by the Province of Carniola and later by the Drava Banat from their establishment in 1913 to 1945 vvhen they became a constituent part of the State Povver-Plant of Slovenia. The author presents the management and administration of the enterprise, the vvorkmen, the development of their system of electric energy as vvell as the construction of their first electric plant in Završnica, buying and planning of electric plants, and distribution netvvork, and joining to other povver-plants. Apart from that, the progress of production, buying and consumption, prices of electricity, electrification policy of povver-plants in the Province of Carniola and the role they played in the electrification of Slovenia is presented.
