Theoretical Foundations and Meditations Concerning Some Questions of the Didactics of History

The author analyzes in this paper some special problems and difficulties as well as demands in the teaching of history, especially from the point of view of the inner logic of this field, from the point of view of interest and apprehension of pupils and fast changes of social reality. Basic conclusions represent starting points for understanding of the position and role of history in the elementary schools.
