The Woman in the Area of Piran until the Middle of the 14th Century

The article deals with the position and the role of the woman in Piran at the period of time until the middle of the 14th century, and compares it to the position and the role of the woman in Dubrovnik in the 13th and 14th centuries, examining in particular her role in marriage, economy and her legal position.
