Abstract

The contribution is a short description of the relation and comprehesion of the Slovene realists in connection with the Slovene national question, which was at first limited to the cultural-educational comprehesion of a national question. The politization of the national question later on, and in 1909 also of the Yugoslav one, caused disunion between the realists and other members of the Yugoslav Socio-Democratic Party, which among other things proved that the Slovene realists did not treat the national and Yugoslav question only as a part of the party's policy, but as a question being of vital importance to the Slovene nation.
