Elections for the Austrian Parliament in Slovene Countries in 1848

On the basis of archive records and newspapers the authoress deals with the elections for the Austrian parliament 1848 on the Slovene territory and finds out that in Carniola, Styria, Carinthia and Coastland 17 Slovene representatives were elected — among them was only a bad half of nationally feeling Slovenes, whereas the others were nationally indifferent.
