Contrary to the up till now spread views that Slovene countries carried a great burden because of taxes and other obligations in connection with supplying the Military Region and that this fact negativelly influenced their economic development, the treatise gives just the opposite view, proving this statement with some aspects of economy history in Slovenia in the 16th and 17th century.
