Trilateral (bilateral) International Action of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Slovenia (Central Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia) in Carinthia During the National Liberation Struggle

Abstract

The author discusses the assistance given by the CC CPS (CC CPY) to the Austrian Central Committee in order that the latter might implement the 1934 Moscow Declaration signed by the Yugoslav, Austrian and Italiar Communist Parties by which the Slovene people was accorded the right of self-determination. The aim of the assistance was twofold: to help the Austrian Communist Party in the implementation of the Moscow Declaration and to help them in the organization of an all-out Austrian struggle for freedom. The author finds that for various reasons and in spite of cnotacts, agreements and direct actions, the offered assistance was not very succesful.
