Abstract

The organisation development of the early Christian Church in provinces on today's territory of Yugoslavia, characterise little known beginnings in the second half of the 3rd century and on transition from the 3rd to the 4th century, an immense ascent in the 4th century, stagnation in the 5th and again an ascent in the 6th century. Development, however, comes to an end wth catastrophy at the Slavic settling down in West Balkans. The hystorical map and the catalogues of bishops in the supplement show the number of dioceses and bishops mentioning from the beginnings until decline of the early Christian Church on the nearly whole territory of Yugoslavia in the 7th century.
