Abstract

In the years 1980—1982 and in 1987 the team of the National Museum in Ljubljana co-operated in exacavating the pre-parish church of Saint Lawrence on Monte di Buja. Beside the rich building history also the church-yard has come to light, where we have met with the elements of the Caranthanian-Kottlach s culture. We cooperated in the topography of the early medieval monuments and graveyards in the northern Friuli, in the topography of the castle in Nimis, in preparations of the medieval ceramics exhibition in Friuli, arranged by the Town Museum in Gorizia, and in work on the old-Slavic necropolis in Muš, excavated by the Archaeological Museum in Acquileia. We took part with our treatises and lectures on the congresses, which have been after 1980 organized by the Deputazione di Storia Patria per il Friuli.
