A. A. Auersperg and the Slovene Nation

Abstract

A. A. Auersperg (Anastasius Grun) was attached to the Slovene land, his native country, to the Slovene and German environment and traditions. His works and his letters show his attitude towards the Slovene nation and its culture. As a German poet he chose in national conflicts the German course, which, however, lead him to the conflict with the Slovene party.
