Pucelj's farmers and the leaders of the Union of peasant boys and girls (Zveza kmetskih fantov in deklet) accepted the new sociological ideology — in the frame of the ideology directives of the newly formed Yugoslav radical peasant democracy (Jugoslovanska radikalna kmečka demokracija — JRKD), later Yugoslav national party (Jugoslovanska nacionalna stranka — JNS), which stressed the Yugoslav national idea and considered the peasant class an important social basis in solving economic crisis. By rejecting the »outlived liberalism and clericalism« Pucelj's »Kmetski list« paved the way to class organisation of state and society. From such views in September 1932 the Union of Slovene peasants was founded in Ljubljana which tried to organize and unite all peasants into a unified peasant organisation. But the conditions in the Slovene social-political and economic sphere were not convenient for its efficient development.
