The Czech and Slovakian Help to Serbia in the First Balkan War

The article shows the engagement of Czech and Slovakian politicians, journalists, physicians, Red Cross, cultural, economic, sport societies, individual citizens, in giving support and help in material to Serbia in the war in 1912. The support of Czech and Slovakian politicians expressed in defending Serbian demands for territorial expansion and access to the sea. The Czech and Slovakian press gave valuable help by objective infroming from the Serbian-Turkish battlefield. The Medical committee for help organised sending physicians and medical staff to Serbia. Citizens from all social classes, except the denationalised Czech aristocracy, collected money and other contributions as aid to the vvounded Serbians.
