Abstract

The linking up of the Slovenian clerical party with The united Croatian Party of Law in the years 1911—1913 represents a very important chapter in the history of the Yugoslav movement. The standpoints of the Vseslovenska ljudska stranka (The Allslovene National Party) in that time were as follows: declaration for the program of Croatian Statehood, being looked upon as the program of the foundation of the Yugoslav unit within the federal Habsbourg Monarchy, including the Slovenes; therefore also recognition of the Serbs and Muslims in the national and religious sense, agreement with them on the basis of the recognition of the Croatian Statehood. All these in the positive attitude towards Serbia and Montenegro. The main concrete achievemcnt vvas the foundation of the Croatian-Slovenian Parlamentiary Club in Vienna, which, during the World War I, became the basis of the development of the Yugoslav action.
