Abstract

The treatise is based on the analysis of the documents submitted on August 10,1946 by the military prosecutor to the military court of the IV. Yugoslav army in Ljubljana for a trial against dr. Gregorij Rožman, Bishop of Ljubljana. It is evident that the military court was either not familiar with or would not consider the additional material, thereby making it clear that the personal guilt of the accused was not of primary concern for the court, but rather a general (political) conviction of all of the accused in the so-called Rupnik trial. Since some of the material concerning Rožman's activities during World War II remains inaccessible, the final verdict is still impossible.
