A Short Survey of the history of Christianity in Slovenia in the late Antiquity

Abstract

The author tries to give a short survey of the history of Christianity in the Late Anliquity in Slovenia: from the first beginnings (approximately in the year 300) untill the decline of the Old Christianity after the arrival of the Slavs (approximately in the year 600). In his report, which is written on the basis of the problems, knovvn hitherto, the author tries critically to confront the standpoints of the Slovene, Austrian and Italian historiography.
