Abstract

For the history of the uniting into the Yugoslav state November 1918 was the time of decisive events, but also of different, frequently contraversial interpretations in the historiography. All the time from the proclamation of the State of the Slovenes, Croats and Serbs in Zagreb on October 29, 1918, up to the foundation of the common Yugoslav state on December 1, 1918, an intensive political activity concerning the way, extent and contents of the uniting into the Yugoslav state went on in the National Council SHS, National Council in Ljubljana, Yugoslav Committee, Serbian government, among the Antanta-Powers, during the negotiations in Geneve, later on in Paris, Zagreb, Belgrade and elsewhere. The negotiations in November 1918 determined the character of the future state, as well as the status of the Slovenes and other Yugoslav nations in the state.
