Contributions to the History of Dvor over Vrba

Abstract

With this treatise the author concludes his contributions to the history of ten Carinthian parishes in the Pliberk and Beljak church districts, which were incorporated into the Ljubljana Diocese in the years 1461— 1787. He arrives at conclusion that the decision of Emperor Frederic III and Pope Pius II Enea Silvio Piccolomini who in the foundation documents of the Ljubljana Diocese assigned those parishes to the Ljubljana Diocese, had far-reaching consequences : the inhabitants of those parts of Carinthia have remained faithful to their Slovene nationality.
