Regions of Yugoslavia from the Dominance of the Venetians and Turks till the Dominance of the Habsburgs

Abstract

The author of the report devides the subject in three main units, vvhich comprise the territories of Venice, Turkey and the Habsburg Empire and related issues, the key periods which have had an impact on the relations between the Yugoslavs and the Italians in the Adriatic area from the 13th century up to the end of the 16th century. The author concentrates on the attitude of Yugoslav historical science towards political development, pointing out at the same time also the economic and demographic consequences.
