Contribution to the Researching of the Currency Reform in the Year 1945

Abstract

The author deals with the money exchange being one of the elementary conditions to start the economy restoration and revival. The currency reform is treated in three question complexes: from the autumn 1944 when quickened preparations in Slovenia were carried out to take over the power and consequently numerous studies on currency problems settling were made; in the spring 1945 the currency reform began to be implemented in the already liberated parts of the country and was already specified by statute for the whole country; in the summer 1945 when the exchange was carried out also in Slovenia, thus the currency reform having been brought to an end.
