About the Attempt to Establish the Slovenen Public Bank of Ljubljana (1872)

Abstract

The author deals with the attempt of a part of the Slovene capital owners and politicians to establish a bank as a joint-stock company. For political reasons the Auersperg-Lasser ministry delayed giving a corresponding agreement, as a reason for its final refusion, however, the ministry took advantage of the crash of the Vienna Exchange in 1873.
