Češka, 20.st.Abstract
The author analyses the development of modem historiography in the Czech Republic, above all after the fall of communism in 1989. He deals especially with following problems: the relative unification of three parts of Czech historical writing (academic, dissident and exilian historiography), creation of a renewed infrastructure of history sciences (central and regional universities, institutes of academy, important archives and museums), starting collaboration with historians abroad, historical disciplines and their magazines, main research topics and the most important publications in the 1990'.
