The Slovenes and the Serb-Bulgarian War in 1885
Abstract
On the basis of the newspapers' reports the author in his extensive contribution analyses the relation of the Slovene public to the Serbian-Bulgarian war in 1885. While the ultraconservative part of the Slovene public and the Germanophils disapproved the uniting of Bulgaria and wished the victory of Serbia, the liberals, sober conservatives and clericals approved it, disapproved the agressive policy of King Milan and praised the victory of the Bulgarian army in the battle at Slivnica.
