Slovene Music during the National Liberation War (1941-1945)

Abstract

The article deals with the historical development of Slovene music during the period of World War II (1941-1945). The four-year period is divided into two parts and followed by the music opus citations from both. Among other significant composers who worked during that period were also some »classical« Slovene composers, i.e. B. Arnič, F. Bernard, C. Cvetko, D. Cvetko, R. Gobec, D. Korošec, M. Kozina, J. Kuhar, A. Lavrin, S. Marolt-Špik, K. Pahor, M. Pirnik, R. Simoniti, P. Sivic, F. Šturm, and D. Zebre.
