Abstract

The first Slovene peasant rising with the gathering ground by Brežice in 1515, favourable consequences of the Mohač battle in 1526, decreasing Turkish danger, numerous immigrants from the South, scattered land domains, misery of the market and town inhabitants and strong germs of the Slovene Reformation are held to be the most important for the history of the 16th century in the Slovene Sava Territory along the Croat border.
