Abstract

This is the second part of the paper on the historic development of the Alpine-Adriatic region after World War II. This part deals with the Austrian-Yugoslav/Slovene border question and the formation of the Austrian State Treaty. The author tried to present at least an outline of the foundation, function, and organisational scheme of the Alps-Adriatic Work Community which was established in 1978, but experienced important changes in 1991.
