Slovenes in the United States of America

Abstract

The author deals with immigration of the Slovenes to the USA, the history of foundation and progress of settlements and organizations that acted throughout the USA as head organizations to those that acted within settlements, and at the same time with the history of hundreds of thousands of individual destinies of immigrants and their descendants. The author deals with the history of Slovene parishes, Slovene national-supporting organizations and the history of Slovene national homes.
